What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

I haved used different technologies to help me in my coursework that I knew nothing about. I used blogger to create my blog. I didn't know how to create a blog before. I learnt how to create a blog, create new posts by adding pictures and videos from the internet. However I did have some problems with as sometimes it freezed up but I managed to get through it.

I used flickr to analysis existing products by making virtual notes. Just like Blogger I knew nothing about this software, so it was a brand new experience for me. Ididn't know how it worked at first but after a few goes I got to grasp with it. Sometimes my images of existing products wouldn't upload so I had to send them to my teacher and upload them via his computor which really annoying. Also flickr wouldn't work on the internet at school when I wanted to add notes so I had to complete it on Fire Fox.










The main software that I used was of course Photoshop in which I had to complete my final products. It was hard and complex system to use at first but after a while it because enjoyable to use because I could be creative which I like to be. Again like the previous three softwares I have mentioned I knew absolutley nothing about Photoshop before joing AS Media. I have learnt so much like making a image 3D looking, separating a object from its background, adding colours etc.

I used Survey Monkey to created a online questionnaire and put a link to it from on my account on Facebook. I knew nothing about Survey Monkey and how to use it but I found it quite simple and straight forword after it was explained to me how to use it.

I liked using these softwares as I knew nothing about them and using them for the first time. It was like a brand knew world and I would defiently use them again. However, I didn't like the fact that it was so hard at first because the programs would freeze up then autimaticaly turn themselves off. But, everything has a advantages and disadvantages to it and the software I used was no exception.
